The Ministry of Justice is consulting on a proposal to raise County Court and Possession Claim Online (PCOL) fees by £75 each which, Government claims, will generate an additional £17 million in income and could be seen as a further move to making the courts self financing.
The proposal covers any claim for possession of land and would cover both rent, ASB and breach of tenancy possession cases.
The six week consultation period started on 16 January and runs until 27th February 2015.
